Recruitment

Recruitment Process The recruitment process includes several important points, according to Simamora (1997:221): 1. Formulation of a strategy to recruit In the preparation of this strategy, human resources department is responsible in determining the job qualifications, how employees will be recruited, where, and when. 2. Search job applicants Having prepared the plans and recruitment strategies, recruitment activity can actually take place, through the recruitment sources that exist. Many applicants, or at least influenced by the effort of informing the recruiters at the job, one of them a bond of good cooperation between companies and external recruitment sources such as schools, universities. 3. Allowance for applicants who do not fit / filtering After the application-application is received, it must be filtered in order to set aside an individual who does not qualify based on job qualifications. In this process requires great attention especially to stem the disqualification for improper reasons, so that in this process required accuracy of the filter. 4. Making a collection of applicants Groups of applicants (applicant pool) consists of individuals who have been in accordance with criteria established by the recruiters and is a viable candidate for the position required.
Recruitment System According Simamora (1997:246) to create an effective system of recruitment managers and human resource managers, should implement a few things, among others: 1. Diagnosing effectively as possible (based on time constraints, financial resources, and availability of existing executive staff) and environmental factors that influence organizational positions to be filled and recruitment activities. 2. Making descriptions, specifications, and detailed performance standards. 3. Determine the type of individuals who are often employed by organizations in the same position. 4. Determine the criteria for recruitment. 5. Evaluating the various channels and sources of recruitment 6. Selecting sources of recruitment that is likely to produce the largest group of candidates and the best fit at the lowest possible cost. 7. Identifying recruitment channels to open those resources, including the writing of advertising, recruitment program schedule. 8. Selecting the most effective recruitment channels cost. 9. Recruitment plan that includes a list of activities and a list to apply it.
